Present at meeting: Cormack, Van Fossen, Gannon, Sarajlija, Bolte, Berry, Luttrell

I. Van Fossen moved to approve the agenda, Gannon seconded; unanimously approved.

II. Gannon moved to approve the January 9, 2017 minutes, Van Fossen seconded; unanimously approved.

III. Public Comment: None (no one present)

IV. Office status

* Bolte gave an Impasse ’17 update. Micheal Thompson was selected as the interest arbitrator for the State of Iowa/SPOC with the hearing set for February 20, 2017.

* Legislative review update. The FY2017 de-appropriation bill contains no cuts for our agency at this time. In the near future we expect to see a bill regarding Chapter 20. The Board will present an overview on 2018-19 budgets to the Economic Development Appropriations sub-committee on February 7, 2017.

* After discussion, Cormack moved to authorize Sarajlija to set show case hearing for UE Local 896 (COGS), Gannon seconded, unanimously approved.

* Cormack made a request for unanimous consent to add a Budget Review to the agenda. There was no objection. Luttrell then gave a budget update. No action was taken after the presentation was made.
