I. Gannon moved to approve the agenda, Van Fossen seconded; unanimously approved.
II. Gannon moved to approve the June 21, 2017 minutes, Van Fossen seconded; unanimously approved.
III. Public Comment: None (no one present)
IV. Office status
* Bolte gave impasse update, 2 cases open.
* Gannon discussed committee designed to review the current ALJ code of conduct. Gannon will provide drafts to ALJs and would like feedback by August 1, 2017.
* Cormack discussed Affirmative Action Plan. PERB met with Anika Gaar, sent a draft plan over to DAS; they accepted the plan. The plan shows we are committed to using the State’s hiring system. PERB also works with Robin Jenkins, from DAS, on diversity postings when there are openings. PERB actively participates in quarterly State recruitment meetings and trainings.
* Machir gave administrative rules update. The rules will be ready for Board’s approval no later than Monday, July 17, 2017.
