Present at meeting: Arnold, Van Fossen, Gannon, Thomas, Machir, Sarajlija, DeSmet, and Luttrell-Bainter
Public Comment (Citizens are allowed to speak on any agenda item or general operation of the agency with the exception of item (VI.) and any other pending cases. Members of the public are allowed a 2 minute limit per speaker.)
I. Approval of agenda – Gannon moved and Van Fossen seconded; unanimouslyapproved.
II. Approval of December 4, 2019 minutes- Gannon moved, Van Fossen seconded, unanimously approved.
III. Office status
* Van Fossen moved to approve the purchase agreement with Embark IT for Audio/Video conferencing system for the PERB library, in the amount of $5,534.60; Gannon seconded, unanimously approved.
* Gannon moved to approve the annual contract with WebSpec for webpage hosting, pending questions answered regarding the contract dates; Van Fossen seconded, unanimously approved.
* Van Fossen moved to approve the annual contract with Election America dba YesElections for recertification elections using e-voting and a phone election system, Gannon seconded, unanimously approved.
* Bainter (Luttrell) gave budget update to board members individually on December 18, 2019.
IV. Consider new and pending Cases (Board may go into closed session pursuant to
Iowa Code Sec. 21.5(1)(d),(f) if applicable)

V. New Business (Board may go into closed session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(a),(i) if applicable)
* None
VII. Next tentative meeting date is to be determined at a later date and will be held in the Jessie Parker Building, PERB Law Library.
